About the Artist
I'm Jane Mortimore and I am a nomadic artist. I travel full-time in my Class B RV named Daisy with my little dog Chia.
I have been on the road since November 2023 where I started out in Jacksonville, Florida. A couple months later, I traveled to southwest Arizona and have spent the past two winters there.
I have a small set of art supplies with me. The van does not allow for much storage space, so I get by with a few pastel, watercolor, graphite pencil supplies and variety of papers.
My art is inspired by the southwest. My goal is to capture the landscapes that I visit. I take a lot of photos for reference purposes as well as use on my website and on YouTube.
Please visit the Gallery and take a look at my art. Most of the artworks there were created before I became a nomad, but the originals were all created on the road.

The photo is a selfie taken at the Hunter Hill Rest Area on I-80 West near the Novato/San Rafael exit. I'm standing in front of a large garden if primroses.
